Dear Friends,
I want to start this update by thanking all of you, again, for your prayers and support. Without you, none of this would be possible.
Last night, I received a phone call from Pastor Remil, in Haiti. They are in the process of distributing the beans, rice, and cooking oil that so many of you had a part in shipping. He told me, “No one has ever done anything like this before for us!”. I told him to tell his people to thank God, for it was only as the Lord touched hearts, and people obeyed, that this was possible. I can assure you that they are very thankful and I hope to have pictures for you soon. Since Pastor Remil had never cleared a container before, Pastor Bob LeBlanc was kind enough to help clear this container through customs. We are so thankful for his help also. Just FYI, I am attaching as list of costs that Pastor Bob paid in order to clear the load at Port Au Prince. Most are not aware of all that has to be done to clear customs in these countries.
Also, from the attached pictures, you can see that we had a great turnout on Saturday for help in loading for Transnistria. This load left on Saturday evening and they unloaded it at Summit Missions, in Uniontown, Ohio on Monday morning. There, the clothes will be baled, then loaded into a cargo container for shipping to Transnistria, Eastern Europe. Please be praying with us about this shipment. It will go in via the Black Sea and has to clear customs in Odessa, Ukraine. I am sure all of you are aware of the situation there now. Just pray that the Lord’s hand will continue to be on this.
