Dear Friends,
Isn’t this often true of us? We pray, ask the Lord for so many things, then He answers our prayers, continues to bless us beyond measure, and then we take it all for granted and never thank Him for all that He does for us. I know that I have surely been guilty of this many times and I am thankful that the Holy Spirit always convicts me when I do this. I have visited so many places where people have absolutely nothing, as far as the worlds goods, but had such a heart for the Lord. I try to never take anything for granted, and often ask Him to remind me to be thankful for His blessings and provisions in everything. I often think of the above verses, where the ten were completely healed, yet only one returned to give glory to God.
Having said all of that, I would really appreciate it if all of you would now join us in giving thanks to God for providing for the funding of this container. So many of you have prayed for the funding, and now God has provided it again. Just think for a moment—in this time when people everywhere are having such a difficult time financially, God is able to simply touch hearts and in just a short time provide the $10,466 (had some added costs that I was not aware of, but God was!) needed for the shipping, fumigation, and clearing customs in Romania. We just want to be sure that He is the one that receives all the glory for this, for it is only through Him touching hearts, and then people responding, that it is possible.
The Lord willing, we will load on Saturday morning, April 28th. As usual, we will try to have breakfast at 7:30 and start the loading at 8. We never know how much help we will have, but is always better to have too much than too little (which, and we thank God, has never been a problem). If you do plan to come and help, and if possible, would you please let me know so that Sissie will know how to prepare breakfast? Thank you.
Thank you all and may the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him and serve others.
In His Service,
Johnny
