Psalm 46:1-3—God is our refuge and strength, ]A very present help in [c]trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the [d]sea;
3 Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.
Dear Friends,
I apologize that it has been so long since you have heard from us. I have had a computer glitch that really messed up my mail, address book, etc. and only recently have it working properly again.
We continue to thank God and praise Him for His continued faithfulness in providing necessary items so that we can help others. He is so good and we try to never take any of His blessings for granted.
It isn’t unusual for us to receive items just before someone calls us with a need for that particular item. As I have said many times before, God never does cease to amaze us with His faithfulness.
The Lord willing, I will be making another trip to Tulsa, Ok. this week. Besides clothes and Bibles, I will be delivering 3 new Double-stacked Whirlpool ovens for a pastor and 2 other ministries there. These ovens were given to us by God’s Warehouse in Morristown, Tn. and we are just God’s conduit to get them where they need to go.
We never know how the Lord is going to work but we have had the privilege, through the years, to see him provide in miraculous ways both here and around the world.
When working in other countries, I have often asked the people if they have any special needs that have not been met. Several years ago I was working on a container for Guatemala and I asked my translator that question. She told me that the ministry had been hoping to provide a wheelchair for a lady but that it had to be an extra large wheelchair. Well, about 2 weeks before we shipped, we received one—and it is very rare that we receive those. You can see the photo of the lady receiving it. Each time this happens, it is always shared that it is because of the love of Jesus that their needs are met. I can’t tell you how many times this has happened through the years.
At this time, we are trying to obtain a Fetal Heart Monitor for a mission team leaving this week for Honduras. They will deliver it to a clinic there. Please pray that we can find one.
Sissie wanted me to ask you that, if you have made a donation, to please check your bank statement to be sure your check cleared. We have been having some real problems with our mail for the past several months.
We want to thank you again for your prayers and your support. Sometimes it seems that we are busier than ever as the Lord allows us just meet needs locally. I am often amazed at some of the stories we hear from those who deliver the food to those in need. These needs seem to be constantly increasing. And, because of your prayers and support, you also have part in all of it
.
May the Lord richly bless each of you.
In His Service,
Johnny & Sissie

Philippians 2:4–Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
