John 14:27 (NASB)– Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
Dear Friends,
I pray that this finds all of you well. However, I know that there are probably some of you going through very difficult times now and I do pray that the Lord will sustain you and meet your every need as only He can.
I know I have said this before, but I will say it again—God never ceases to amaze me at how He works things out when He wants something done.
As many of you know, we have been praying for a truck, or looking for someone to take a load to a ministry in Tulsa, Ok. Well, the Lord did much better—through a friend, He made it possible for us to have use of the largest U-Haul truck, which you can see in the photo. Because of this, we were able to take about 3 times what we usually take in trailer, and I can assure you that it is a huge blessing to the ministry in Tulsa. In the photos you can see us loading it here, then unloading at Living Hope Baptist Church in Tulsa, Ok. We were loaded when I left here, but then I stopped at a church operated mission in Tatum, Texas and added more! We are so thankful to the Lord for making all of this possible. Also, there is an attached video and a letter from Pastor Bo Holland that I would encourage you to watch and read.
Also, the container for Malawi is now in Tanzania. I doubt that many of you are aware of how much shipping has been affected all over the world due to wars, attacks, etc. We would surely appreciate your continued prayers for this container as it is transported cross country to Malawi.
To those of you locally, who bring clothes, shoes, and other things here, I would like to ask you to please do something that would really be of help. Since we do not do any sorting here anymore, we would really appreciate it if you could just kind of sort and label the bags/boxes “Mens, Womens, Boys, Girls, Infants, Winter, Summer”. This would be a huge help to those in Tulsa who have to sort all of these supplies. Thank you very much!
Again, thank you all very much for your continued prayers and support. Please pray that, in the coming days, Fairhaven will continue to be a conduit of God’s love and compassion toward others. Also pray that as the Lord opens doors of service, we will be faithful to step through those doors and minister as He leads.
Thank you, and God bless,
Johnny

Hello Johnny:
I wanted to send you a note from Tulsa Living Hope and Missionpoint to say thank you for all the support you have given to us. The continuous donations of clothing and other items over the years have allowed us to meet so many needs and has opened doors to share the love of Christ. Because of your generosity we are able to minister to 1000’s of individual and families. These individuals and families are our “Friends in Need”.
Along with the clothing we also provide food and personal hygiene items. These 3 provide the core of what we provide and allows us the open door to share Jesus with each one we meet.
We have expanded our ministry to assist 4 to 8 other ministries in our area with clothing. These ministries are located throughout the metro area which allow us to reach many more people.
This past fall we were provided with over 300 shoe box size children gifts. All of these boxes were given out at Christmas to Native American children, Chuukese children and Marshallese children here in the Tulsa area along with the Christmas story and the gospel message.
We say thank you for your support.
