Dear Friends,
It is my prayer that this finds all of you well. We are all fine, and the Lord continues to keep us very busy.
First, a note to those in our local community regarding the need for help with loading a container on the morning of Saturday, October 26th. We are helping a family who is moving to Togo, Africa where they will be doing full time mission work. They are using our building as a staging area from which to load the container. It will be a 40’ high cube, as normal, and we would appreciate your help if you can be available.
As usual, we will have breakfast at 7:30 and start loading about 8. We would really appreciate it if you could let us know if you will be here to help so that we will know how many to prepare breakfast for.
I always enjoy sharing how the Lord works things out.
Recently, we have been looking for an ultrasound machine for a ministry in Roatan, Honduras. The Lord has used Rusty Hall, with “But God Ministries”, in Jackson, Ms. in order to meet this need. Then, last night, I had a call from a local friend who needs eyeglasses and an ultrasound machine for a ministry deep in the bush in Uganda. After I spoke with Rock, I called a friend, Don Owens, with First Baptist Church in Morristown, Tenn., where they have a huge warehouse and outreach ministries. I asked Don if they had any eyeglasses and he said they have several thousand pair and asked how many we needed. I then mentioned that we also needed an ultrasound machine and he told me he had one of those also, which was given to them by the Crises Pregnancy Center. To me, what is even more amazing, is that this machine will be used for the same purpose in Uganda as it was here in the States—to help in the prevention of abortions. I am always thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness in using people to accomplish His will.
I hope it was a blessing to you to read of His faithfulness in meeting these needs.
We thank God for all of you and for your prayers and support through the years. Anything that God accomplishes through the ministry here, you are a part of it.
May He continue to richly bless you all.
In His Service,
Johnny
