Dear Friends,
Just a short letter to inform you all that, the Lord willing, we will be loading a container for Israel on Saturday, February 24th. We would surely appreciate your help if you could make it. As usual, we will have breakfast about 7:30 and start loading at 8 or so.
One of the questions I am frequently asked by donors, and others with whom I work, is how do we know that supplies we ship are going to the people who need them once the supplies are in the country. I can tell you that in most countries where we work, that can be a challenge. Also, because of bureaucratic problems and corruption, the countries that need the help the most are usually the most difficult to help. However, before we will even consider loading a container, we make sure that we have a very trusted recipient set up on the other end who will clear customs and knows how to deal with all the problems that are sure to arise. The recipients are Christians and the supplies are distributed through other Christians, sometimes individuals and sometimes ministries. However, through it all, it opens to the doors to minister the love of Jesus and share His love with others.

Also, on the list, you see “dishes, pots, pans”. These are greatly needed items but need to be new—also silverware.

The Lord has recently opened the doors for us to ship another 40’ container to Israel. The following is a list of some of the critical needs they have at the present. The Lord willing, we will be loading this container about the last of February or first of March. We thank Him for allowing us the privilege of serving in Israel again.
