Matthew 25: 37-40—37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Dear Friends,
As I write this letter, there is a natural disaster of immense proportions going on in south east Texas from Corpus Cristi to Houston and into west Louisiana. No doubt all of you are aware of what is happening there at this moment. Also, many of you reading this are probably in the middle of this. I want to assure you that you are in our prayers. Also, I would like to stress that, when you are able to get back to your home, if you have specific needs that we may be able to help with, no matter what, that you would let us know. We will be happy to do what we can to help.
Attached you will find a letter and a comprehensive list of needed supplies. If you would like to share this with others, please feel free to do so. All of the drop off info is in the letter.
As many of you know from past experience with Katrina, and the flooding here last year, this will be an area with very long term needs. Right now all we can do is pray and start gathering supplies so that they will be ready to be delivered when it is possible.
On an encouraging note, since my last letter, we have loaded and shipped a container to Malawi. ETA for Beira, Mozambique is 10/03/2017 and for Blantyre, Malawi is 10/26/2017. We thank the Lord for making this possible and pray that He will work through MWANA Missions Project as they distribute the supplies. We are always thankful for the privilege of serving both here at home and abroad, but it is our desire that only our Lord is glorified and His unconditional love is demonstrated wherever the supplies go.
As always, thank you for your continued prayers and support. We pray His richest blessings on each of you.
In His Service,
Johnny

SUPPLIES FOR STORM VICTIMS
The following is a list of supplies that will soon be needed in the storm affected areas of Texas and Louisiana. Once we have a load, there are several who have volunteered to deliver them to this area. We will be in touch with churches and other organizations in Texas and Louisiana which will be set up distribution points. Although there will be several places in which you can drop off needed supplies locally, we have 2 places set up to receive:
Fairhaven Ministry, 21066 Fairhaven Road, Covington, La., 70435 Contact: Johnny Huffman: 985-264-5052
The Connection Center, 1133 N. Lee Rd. Covington, La. 70433 Contact Matt Smith: 985-778-8568
Also, for more information, please contact Jamie Montgomery at 985-966-3643
We would ask, if possible, that you box the supplies in appropriate size boxes and label them as to the contents. This makes both loading here easier and also much more convenient for those who have to unload and sort the supplies at the distribution centers. Thank you very much for your concern and help for these in such desperate need.
