Dear Friends,
First of all, thank you all for your continued prayers and support. The Lord continues to bless the ministry at Fairhaven as we work at raising the children and also meeting needs both here and abroad. His faithfulness in every situation never ceases to amaze me.
Aside from some health issues with Sweetie and Sissie, everyone is doing well. The kids are always going “wide open”, and certainly making me feel my age! We thank God for each of them and pray that they will be open to His direction in their lives and desire that personal relationship with Him.
A few days ago, the kids found a box of puppies that someone had just left in a box across the road in front of our home. They are sure enjoying them–but we are sure trying to find homes for them also! Never a dull moment around here! You can see Destiny, Jordin, and Jojo with some of them in the picture.
Also I want to remind you all that, The Lord willing, we will be loading the container for Romania on Saturday, November 7th. As usual, we will have breakfast at 7:30 and start loading about 8. We would appreciate all of the help that we can get. At this time, we have almost 1000 Christmas boxes, plus we will have clothes, meds, and other supplies to load. At this time we have only had $500 come in designated for the shipping/distribution cost.
Very often I think of when we first started to working in Romania and then, about 1997 started to shipping. I had thought that perhaps The Lord would permit us to ship 1 container a year. One year He did 14! Do you ever consider how we often limit Him with our preconceived ideas of what He can do? I think all of us are often guilty of this instead of leaving ourselves completely open for Him to work through. He is surely more than faithful!
