Dear Friends, Thank you for making the 45th Christmas at Fairhaven such a blessing for the children. I assure you that the attached pictures can’t possibly convey the excitement and happiness of the children as they opened their gifts on Christmas morning. Dear Friends, Just a quick update to let you know that the “Christmas Container” arrived safely in Arad, completely intact. We did have a little problem in Germany. From each shipload of containers, customs will choose 3 or 4 for spot inspections. Ours was one of the ones chosen this time, in Bremerhaven. Although there was no problem with the contents of the container, we still had to pay $798 for the inspection, storage, etc. Just another “cost of helping people”. Dear Friends, I wanted to update you all on the loading of the container this past Saturday. This made Container # 70 for Romania! The Lord touched hearts and people responded. We had one of the largest turnouts ever to help load a container. Thank you!! We started loading at 8 am and prayed over the fully packed container around 10 am. Thousands of hours of labor that went into the sorting and boxing of the contents that were loaded on Saturday. I often tell people that this is the part of mission work that most folks never see.
