Fairhaven Update – April 2, 2014
Dear Friends, I want to start this update by thanking all of you, again, for your prayers and support. Without you, none of this would be possible. Last night, I received a phone call from Pastor Remil, in Haiti. They are in the process of distributing the beans, rice, and cooking oil that so many of you had a part in shipping. He told me, “No one has ever done anything like this before for us!”. I told him to tell his people to thank God, for it was only as the Lord touched hearts, and people obeyed, that this was possible. I can assure you that they are very thankful and I hope...

1 John 3: 16-18—Hereby,perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brethren have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion for him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Dear Friends, Just a brief update on what is happening around here and how the Lord is working. We are all doing well, and so thankful for that! With the flu and other things going around, we have...

1 Corinthians 3:9– For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. Dear Friends, First of all, I want to thank all of you who shared your Christmas with the children, and for helping to make it so special for them. I always say that the pictures do not do come close to describing Christmas morning here, and that is so true. As we go through the holidays, I am always reminding the children that they are so blessed because of the sacrifices of others. We are fully aware that any and all things that we are able to have or do here are...

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Dear Friends, Just wanted to remind those of you who are local that we will be loading the container for Romania on Saturday morning. As usual, we will have breakfast about 7:30 and try to start loading about 8. I would just like to share with you how the Lord has put this together. I have shared with you how we loaded another container a few months ago for Moldova...

1 Corinthians 15:58–Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Dear Friends, As I was out working this morning, I was thinking of some of the things that are taking place throughout the world today. As I thought of it, it came to my mind an incident that happened after the last presidential election. A friend called me and asked me what I thought about it. I told him that I was glad to know that Lord was still in full control of the situation, just as He had always been. As we watch what is happening in our...

Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Dear Friends, As you can see, we had plenty of help in loading the container to Moldova. I have to take the responsibility for the poor quality of the pictures. My camera has gone out and I was using my phone. I would appreciate your prayers for the upcoming container which will be loaded, the Lord willing, on...
