Fairhaven Update March 14, 2019
This letter is a little different than my other letters. Sissie wrote the following letter to send out with receipts and I wanted to include it also. Philippians 4:6-7—Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Dear Friends, Fairhaven is beginning it’s 53rd year and Johnny and I our 47th year at Fairhaven. We are blessed and thankful that He has given us the privilege of serving Him. The...

Matthew 25:37-40– 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Ephesians 5: 15-16– 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Dear Friends, It is my prayer that this letter finds all of you well. Sometimes, when I feel I am overloaded with problems and kind of feeling down, the Lord always reminds me of 2 things. First, different places in the world that I have visited and situations I have seen there—second, the prayer list at our church, the needs which covers front and back of a standard size printer sheet of paper. I assure you that it does not take but a second for me to...

Dear Friends, It is my prayer that letter finds all of you well. Besides the normal viruses and colds that go around, we are doing well. I have, in the past few days, been contacted by people who are working in both Florida and N. Carolina. It seems that the needs are overwhelming in many places but I was contacted regarding winter clothing and coats. So, I decided to do what we have done in the past and just put the word out and let God do the rest. Those who have contacted me are also very concerned about the children in these areas and whether or not they will have gifts at Christmas....

1 John 3: 10-11, 18—10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Dear Friends, It is my prayer that this letter finds all of you well. Since my last letter, my mom has passed away and we surely miss her. However, she was 89 and was able to take care of herself until about 5 days...
