Fairhaven Update -November 18, 2022
Titus 3:14–Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful. Matthew 25:40–The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ Dear Friends, As I sat down to write this update letter, I was thinking of how the Lord has used/is using so many of you to minister to others in His name. Yes, we thank you, as always, for your prayers, love, and support you have shown us here at...

1 Peter 4:10 (NASB)—As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the [a]multifaceted grace of God. Dear Friends, I apologize for taking so long to get this update out. My computer developed some real security issues and we had to reinstall the operating system, which led to other issues in reinstalling mail and my address books. Suffice it to say that I am very thankful for the Lord giving me friends who are much more computer savvy than I am!! The Lord continues to bless and we try to continue to be a blessing to others. A week or...

Galatians 6:10–As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Dear Friends, I have been putting off writing this letter because I wanted to wait till had pictures of us loading the container for Poland. However, due to logistical problems (which is the new norm now), we will not be loading till August 10th. And, yes, I could have waited 2 more days but I received an urgent request this morning from a friend at God’s Warehouse, in Morristown, Tn. To quickly explain this need—this is a medical team working to...

Hebrews 4:16–Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Dear Friends, Yesterday afternoon, between disruptions, I finally had my update letter all typed up. When I left my office for dinner, I clicked on “save to draft”. Later, when I came back to complete it, it was gone—not in any folders anywhere. Well, as you can imagine I was more than a little frustrated. Finally, the Lord AGAIN reminded me of, actually, how insignificant that is compared to what so many are facing today in our communities, our...

Mark 10:45—For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Dear Friends, I pray this finds all of you well. Thank the Lord, we are all doing ok—just busy as usual. This coming week, on May 6th, Allie will graduate from Mississippi College with a degree in Elementary Education. She is blessed to already have a job after graduation. Then, on May 28th, Chaz will graduate from High School. He plans to join the US Marines. Their sister, Lily, will be a Junior at Northlake Christian School next year. Please continue to pray for...

Dear Friends, This is just a short letter to let you know of the changes/additions in needs for the Ukraine refugees. I want to thank all of you who have brought supplies or donated funds for this need. The Lord willing, Sissie and I will be driving to Morristown, Tn. this coming Tuesday, April 5th, to pick up a commercial ice machine that has been given to us by God’s Warehouse. The people at God’s warehouse will soon be shipping a container to Moldova in order to help there and the supplies we take with us will go into that container. Now, I know this is short notice but I just made...
